About Brvsk
Every Brvsk kit begins the way it did in 1998 — in the hands of one Ukrainian family who simply couldn’t stop stitching. More than twenty-five years later, that hasn’t changed. We still design every pattern ourselves, still print every canvas under our own name, and still pack each kit as if it were going to someone we know.
Because to us, it is. We consider every customer a friend — and that single idea has shaped everything we make.
Where it all started
It began as a family hobby in the mid-1990s. In Ukraine, needlework is woven into everyday life — a craft passed quietly between generations at the kitchen table. In 1998 we printed our very first tapestry canvas and named it Charivnytsya, Ukrainian for “the charmer.”
Within a few years, stitchers across the country were proudly framing masterpieces made on our canvases. The name on the pack was ours — and we’ve kept it there ever since. Today that same family still designs, prints and stands behind every kit you’ll find here.
